Tannin stains = tainnin or reduced sugar

Origin of tannin stain: Less ripe fruits or seeds
Types of stains: wine, fruit juice, coffee, soy sauce, water, green tea, etc.
It is soluble in water, acetone, and ethanol. Insoluble in organic solvents. It converts insoluble protein / gelatin into water insoluble. / Ink, mordant, medicines, etc. Used with ink or medicine

Reduced sugar stain
Source of stain: sweetener of various foods
Types of stain: sweetener (glucose), honey (fructose), beer (maltose), sugar (sucrose = glucose + fructose)
Features of stain: transparent, not visible to the naked eye / Easily soluble in water but discolored by heat (brown to brown) and not soluble in water (reduced sugar) / easy to combine with animal fibers (wool, silk, nylon)

Causes of reduced sugar stain:
Sugar ingredients that have not been removed in the washing process cause brown to yellow reduced sugar stains due to heat such as drying, pressing, and ironing, and are particularly common in dry-cleaning clothes.

To remove sugar stain from dry cleaning:
Although sugar-contamination is a contaminant that is easily removed with water, it is difficult to remove by dry-cleaning in the case of animal fibers, which are treated with dry-cleaning, especially for sugar-binding animal fibers. Furthermore, it is difficult to spot with naked eye before washing in the pretreatment. This can be solved by a combination of dry-cleaning and wet-cleaning or with a wet-cleaning by a moisture-charge system at a level that can eliminate waterborne contamination

Removing reduced sugar stains:
Reduced sugar-stains that have been dated for a long period of time or that have been oxidized by heat and hardened can not be removed by normal washing. Put a few drops of neutral detergent in hot warm water and keep it warm for a sufficient period of time to allow the reduced sugar stain to dissolve slowly. The residue is treated with whitening or 3% -hydrogen peroxide bleaching.
