In contrast to bleaching, which decomposes the accumulated coloring matter remaining on the fiber by chemical action to make it colorless, the fluorescent brightening is an action that whitens the slightly yellowish group present in the white cloth to complement the celadonite even after bleaching. Fluorescent dyes, fluorescent white dyes, fluorescent whitening agents, fluorescent whitening dyes, and the like.

Classifying fluorescent bleach

Direct dye system: added to cellulosic, dog, wool part, bell, household detergent

Acid dye system: for wool, silk, nylon

Mineral dye system: effective with wool, silk, nylon, acetate, neutral

Disperse Dyes: acetate, nylon, vinylon, acrylic, polyester, polyvinylidene

Characters of fluorescent bleach

Unlike colored dyes, fluorescence in the dyeing dominates the performance of the dye.

In colored dyes, when dyeing is increased, clothing is dyed with deep color, but fluorescent brightener has an ultimate amount of dye that fluorescence is maximized. For example, in the case of a stilbene type fluorescent whitening agent, 1: 50 and 30 DEG C for 60 minutes, the use of 0.1 to 0.5% of fiber weight is effective, and if used in a large amount, the fluorescence intensity is lowered. This phenomenon is called density quenching.

There is a difference in the fluorescence intensity and the salt deposition amount causing the concentration quenching even at the same salt amount depending on the type of preparation added to the blooming treatment. This is due to the different interaction of the dye molecules by the dyeing state of the pigment.

Dyeing in the coexistence system of surfactant SDS has high fluorescence intensity and high quenching intensity.

The characteristic of the fluorescent brightener dye is that the pigment is eliminated by washing.
